Pixelated curves

I am new to the program and would like to know why my drawings are so pixelated when I zoom in a little. Is there an antialiasing setting? Or do I need to make my canvas larger?

Maybe you used Pencil tool instead of Paint tool?

Go up to the change canvas and change your resolution to at least 600. I notice my stuff keeps coming in at 72...
