apple pencil double tap to go back to brush and not previous tool?

hello
i'm brand new at artstudio and i'm in love with it (i so far worked with photoshop on cintiq and procreate on ipad)
One thing i cant figure: when i double tap on my apple pencil it goes to eraser (as i set in preferences) if then i double tap again it goes to the last used tool and not the brush (as it does in procreate) so if i use: smudge doubletap-erase doubletap i get back to smudge and i have to show the interface again to go back to brush by clicking on the brush icon which sort of brakes my usual flow

i'm obviously missing something and any help would be most welcome!!

Have you seen the Quick Menu? It's faster than double tap stylus since you can do quick flicks with items in the first ring of menu (8 quick-flick items + 16 others!). It's faster than procreate since there is no need to wait for the menu to appear (when using the "Finger Function" gesture to initiate it).

If you really like double tap stylus to get to eraser or smudge, then keep it on and use Quick Menu to get back to brush - no interface needed!
