Suggestions, Ideas, Bugs / Bug: Canvas doesn’t load

Often when I try opening a canvas of mine but it shows up empty, the layers are present but the canvas is missing. I end up having to relaunch the app to fix the issue. Also sometimes the brush panel appears twice as wide I’m not sure why but I always relaunch the app to solve it again.
