I am also experiencing this bug after the 5.0 update.  Switching between Paint and Eraser tool has a noticeable delay.  This makes the quick switching of tools when drawing annoying, because strokes appear after a delay (and pressure is not detected correctly on the stroke part before the tool finally switches).

I'm experiencing this on an iPad Pro 12.9 2021 128Gb, iOS 16.1.1
