Title: Suggestion: Add layer picking functionality to finger double-tap gesture options

Hello,

I’m usually working on projects that have many layers with overlapping elements, so I use the move tool (with layer pick mode) a lot.

Currently while painting, I have to switch on the Move tool , tap on canvas, pick the layer I want, and switch back on the brush to continue painting. And repeat.

It would be really fantastic if you could add the same functionality of layer picking to the Single-Touch Double tap options (finger) , so it temporarily activates layer picking ( you get the pop up with layers to choose from) while still in painting with brush tool.

Or Triple tap gesture would be good for that as well.

I know Move tools a separate tool but it would be really cool if users could activate layer picking without leaving current (brush)tool somehow.

I handle this by putting a button in the quick menu to open the layers panel, and rely on it auto closing after I select a layer and start drawing. It’s a similar idea, just slightly less lightweight. I have quick menu on double tap (quick menu on single tap can also be set up.) I do agree it would be cool to expose that mini layer picker to more gestures tho! It’s a neat thing but yeah I hardly use it because having to switch to the move tool to get it is too cumbersome.

Thanks for consideration! Yeah definitely it would be great to pick layers with a gesture without switching current tool :)

It's already implemented in the latest beta! I've tried it and it works wonderfully! ✨✨

Tested the beta and this works perfectly!, I set it to double tap and it’s such a time saver.
