on the subject of UI improvement, would it be possible to add brush hardness to the “...” brush menu, like it would be in photoshop?
changing the hardness as it is takes far too many steps for something you might want to change nearly as often as brush size, and is from what I can tell impossible to do for favourited brush presets without selecting a brush from the brush menu and invalidating the preset.
some way to customise the “...” brush menu would be ideal, but I think hardness should definitely be there, while symmetry would probably be better located in the toolbar somewhere out of the way, since it’s unlikely to be something you need that often
