Request: snapping to specific angles for line tool
on: January 15, 2019, 09:01:21 AM
I would like to see kind of snapping to angles when using the line option on a brush. Either by setting it to a specific angle like 15 %, or by constraining it using a modifier key. In the ipad version this could be another finger on the canvas.

Do you know if it is available in some other app on iPad?

Procreate offers this kind of snapping when using the quickline/quickshape, using increments of 15 degrees when putting a finger on the canvas.

Clip Studio offers the ability to set the "step of angle" for the line tools, which can be set to any angle. If this option is checked it will only draw on these angles. Clip studio has the option for other shape tools as well, for instance it is possible to draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool, then specify the angle it is set at. This angle can be constrained to any angle you wish.
