Drag and drop feature for a future update

Hi Artstudio team and members,
I’m ship jumper/survivor from a sinking, cold and painfully slow developing boat named Affinity Photo. The one thing it did best out of all it’s fancy features, it could take all the time and creativity you spent painting and send you into a spinning world of butt pain with it’s beautifully designed ‘crash and trash your file’ button. They called this button ‘SAVE”

I’ve gotta say, I’m loving the stability and speedy brush engine, not mention the PS brush importing. AN UNBELIEVABLE PIECE OF SOFTWARE! Congrats guys!

I wanted to request a feature which I’m sure is already in the pipeline.
It’s the drag and drop images into your project feature.
I’ve attached a link to a YouTube clip where I show how AP handles it. I just like the way when the image is imported it goes straight into edit mode. Move. Scale and rotation.
This may save some time getting it into position quicker then having to engage the transform option under the edit menu.

Anyway that’s it. Keep up the great work!

Hello!
Thanks for nice motivating opinion about Artstudio Pro. We are doing our best to make it better and better with every update.

Drag and drop is already here. In version 2.0 it will even ask if dragged image should be added as a layer or as a new document. 2.0 will be released on Tuesday!

Auto enable transforming after adding image will be added soon, in 2.1 or 2.2
