Merging masks to combine them

Right now, if you have multiple masks, only the top one applies, then when you merge them all others are gone. That's not the purpose of having multiple mask layers.

Perhaps in the future we can have full Boolean merge...

You have to use transparency in multiple masks. For example make bottom mask opaque white, and mask above - black shape on transparency.
In multiple masks case - thay are merged like normal layers first, then applied to their base layer.
