ArtStudio Pro Navigation Window
on: July 02, 2018, 09:36:53 AM
I had this idea this morning. I have my iPad Pro hooked up to my iMac via USB cable. I opened up ArtStudio Pro in both computers. Now I draw on the iPad and save to iCloud. I open this file up from the iMac. Now when I draw on the iPad and save, my progress in the drawing will show up on my iMac ArtStudio Pro. Sometimes you have to save twice to get the sync to work, but this is a way of having a large Navigation window for your iPad drawing.

It would be nice to have a Navigation window in ArtStudio Pro Mac OS.

Also, a color usage history, so I can go back and select the color I used earlier. Right now, I have created a color swatch palette for my painting I am drawing, so I can save the colors there. But if I want to use a swatch color from another palette, I have to change color palettes.

And lastly, Clip layers, so I can be non-destructive painting to the original layer.

Recent colors/brushes etc - it will be done in the future

Clip layer - i suppose you mean Clipping Mask - it is already there.

Maybe I am using is wrong. I saw the clipping mask, and am wondering how it is used in Artstudio Pro.

And I would like to add, maybe have the color editor replace the color swatches as a right side panel. That way, it would be accessible all of the time for choosing colors.

Thank you for all of your hard work. It's paying off.

Version 1.4 will have option to show HSL sliders instead of swatches in right toolbar.

Does that mean you are getting rid of the swatches? I hope not.

Sounds good!

Another problem I am having is the PAN tool when holding down the spacebar. After releasing the spacebar, I don't get the brush tool back. It remains a Pan tool.
I am using an Intuos 5 Watcom tablet, Mac OS High Sierra.
