I have to say, when i saw the tweet you guys posted about the UI for Notestudio i got tremendously excited. Not because i will use it, necessarily, but because it will be used in Artstudio. I'm curious to see how you guys will implement it with a more complex app like Artstudio but my excitement comes from the fact that this new UI does remind me a lot of another kind of UI that i've loved for years and years: the one in Infinite Painter, the art app i used to use before switching to AS. That app had the cleanest interface i'd ever seen in a drawing software and ESPECIALLY since, contrary to most drawing apps out there, it has more features than Microsoft Paint. Better yet, your UI seems able to merge customizable floating elements which is even better.

so! good points all across for that new UI. I'm just wondering, will we get also a colour-picker feature and a Reference Image feature that don't need to be confined in an un-customizably-sized window? will we be able to have more than one reference image displayed at once? will we get a triangular option for the colour picker (the best shape for it, no argument)?

In Artstudio Reference panel is resizable

We are working on resizable panels for the new UI library, and we will probably use it for Reference panel and color picker.
More than one reference - maybe...
Triangular - yes, it is not hard to implement.
