I tried to repeat that, but everything looks fine.
Could you give me all steps to reproduce the issue?
One more idea:
Maybe you have a small selection active? you can choose Select > Deselect to make sure there is no selection.
Thank’s for this response. I need to try this immediately to see if this fixes my issues. But this shouldn’t be happening in the first place. Why can’t this action be automatic when using the paint tools? Like, after using the Transform tool…and then switching to the paint tool shouldn’t require this action of “deselecting” using a menu action. I don’t even know if Procreate does this.
New problem…when selecting my tool to continue sketching…the color of the tool doesn’t correspond to the color I want…even though it’s listed in the toolbar. It’s selecting my favorites but doesn’t let me choose the color. It uses the last color I had selected before I changed the color again when making my selection. So when I use the tool…I can’t get ASP to use the new color.
The problem is the transform tool. Apparently even if I try deselecting the transform tool…it still stays active. It doesn’t deselect when I try deselecting the tool. This is why I can’t get the color changed. Because the selection tool is still selecting the area that has the old color. It doesn’t let me deselect it to let me change the color. So when I draw something else the transform tool is using that color even though I’m trying to deselect from the transform tool to draw something else. The transform tool is not properly deselecting from the action to let me continue drawing. This needs a fix.
