Pattern Bucket Fill Tool - Help

So I’m trying to figure out how to add new patterns to the Pattern Bucket Fill menu and I can’t seem to figure it out.  I’ve been trying to import images through photos or files (on IPad Pro), but I’m doing something wrong... Does anyone know how to do this? Please share!!

There are generally 2 ways:
1. Load pattern image as a new document and tap File>Add Preset>Add Pattern
2. Copy image to clipboard, open Pattern Editor, tap 'Action' icon and pick 'Paste Image From Clipboard'
