A masterpiece of an app feature-wise, but that doesn’t solve its dull design. From the grey header and grey text and tools to the grey background and grey drop down menus, every happy mistake I make while imitating Bob Ross digital style — is enclosed in a window of greyness. This may seem a little nitpicky which it is, but all this greyness is psychologically damaging. What happened to the near black background and the striking orange used in Artstudio Pro’s app icon?
While the masses are begging for Terminator tier features, lasers, lightsabers and all from a (supposedly) small company developing a £12.00 app — all I am asking for is a darker and a somewhat cleaner interface that corresponds to its icon.
