Gradient map bug on mac os
on: January 18, 2019, 03:16:07 PM
I have trouble using the gradient map feature in the mac version of artstudio pro. The window to edit the gradient is somehow faulty, and only displays a very small part of the graph, which makes it unusable, unfortunately. See the screenshot to know what I mean.

On iOS everything works fine.

Sorry, I don't know how to reproduce that, it looks fine on all my Macs.

Sorry, i tested that on both El Capitan and Mojave, but it worked fine.

But i can see on the screenshot you posted that you maybe didn't choose any gradient from the list.
Please choose one and write if it helped.

App should use a default gradient, but for some reason it didn't in your case...

Selecting specific gradients does not change it. Perhaps it is a retina UI thing?? I have an old iMac with a non-retina screen (full-HD). Perhaps it is not rescaling these things correctly, as the brush pop up window also looks a bit strange: it is wide so it could fit two brushes side by side, but there is only one. Sometimes some items in the list align to the left, while the rest is in the middle. I guess it should look like the window in the iOS version, with two columns? See the screenshot attached to see how it looks now.

I am sorry, I have a rather old mac, so perhaps these issues can be contributed to this. I still hope you can solve it, as I would like to use ASP on a Mac, but these issues are rather nagging. Thanks!

I will try to reproduce that on my old Macbook.
