It is probably system issue, not Artstudio.

well, before restarting I tried goodnotes5, which has a top bar placed roughly in the same spot, and it worked just fine
touch test wasnt giving issues, neither was using scribble on safari search bar, which is still placed at the top

well, air 4 comes with ipad os 14 out of the box... it's updated to 14.3

with finger is even worse

I'm using ipad air 4+apple pencil, selecting items on the top bar is frustrating, would say doesnt work 30% of the time, sometimes i tap several times and nothing happens, this is with all the items

btw I am tapping on the size number since tapping on the dot doesnt work at all

it's even worse with finger instead of pencil


other programs with items on top bar (eg goodnotes) work just fine
am i doing something wrong?

ah, I was using sidecar, m1 air+ipad air 4+apple pencil
thought it was removed from the trial

anyway pressure kinda works, but would need heavy adjustments since the lines are really faint
krita, for example, offers a pressure curve in the program and works really well

prob will just buy the ipad version
