Switching back from brush to smudge
on: January 19, 2019, 03:58:41 PM
Switching from smudge to brush is nice, but I'd like it to work the other way too. This is like 80% of the painting process.

Personally I don't like any automatic and completely unexpected switching (you may just press too hard or waited a bit too long - and, WTF, it's a different tool), especially when you can't disable them. But brush/smudge is a most common pair to work with if you're not into the heavy brush strokes style. The switch should work both ways, but ONLY if you selected it in the preferences.

In version 2.1 you will be able to set finger as a Smudge tool, and Pencil as a Paint tool.
