How to resize pasted image

I can paste an image from my clipboard board into my art studio document. But when I try to use ‘resize image’, nothing happens. I can enter a new size, but nothing happens. This seems like a really basic thing to do. I’m sure I’m missing something basic.

I’m using art studio pro for ipad.

I paste my clipboard image into it’s own layer and make that layer current.

Any suggestions appreciated.

You have to go to “edit” on the top menu, then click “transform”. From there you can resize your image and move it around. I sometimes helps if you “select” the area you want to change first.
