Annoying issue opening files
on: January 06, 2023, 02:29:02 PM
Keep getting this error AN AWFUL LOT lately:

Unable to import document, and error occurred while trying to import a document: No description
Hint: This is a system bug, rebooting may fix it.

Tried rebooting and it doesn't fix the issue. I tried opening the same exact file in Infinite Painter and it opens with no problem at all, so the "system bug"... sorry but i can't buy that.

App version is 5.0.1 but happened before v5. The file can be a PSD, a PNG, or w/e, i have no idea why some open fine and others just refuses... and again, those same files open in any other app that is compatible with the file format :S

It's becoming really frustrating since it's affecting my PC to Ipad to PC workflow >_<

Edit, i cant even create new projects now, i think the issue is related to the "folder" you are in... like, im always in "recent", and it didnt allow me to create the file (dunno if thats why i cant open files either)... anyways, this never happened before, hope is easy to track and fix :(

Beta could fix it or not, i couldn’t repeat this issue on my ipad.

Do you know how to reproduce it?

Recent is not a real folder, document are created probably in one of these folders:
on my ipad > Artstudio Pro
iCloud Drive > Artstudio Pro

You can also try to change this option:
iOS Settings > Artstudio Pro > Document Storage
