Thanks. Not really, these hours were subdivided for few weeks in real time.

I have a serious lack of patience, so working on a painting subdevided over several weeks would make me go crazy. That's why I use a more concept-art technique to speed up things and keep my focus on the overall painting. After that I go into details, overpainting and adjustment layers.
