Suggestion: Sliders alongside of number fields
on: November 25, 2021, 06:59:38 AM
That would really help with productivity and speed of experimentation with settings (brush for example). And also help modernise the app look and UX even more.

Of course number fields should stay, but maybe to the side of the sliders ?

I know that you can tap on the number filed to get to the slider but it’s an extra step.

Just a suggestion here, I love ASP.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it would be comfortable to use, did you see similar solution in any other app?

Procreate has sliders. But it uses different design approach. It wouldn’t suit Artstudio design, I think. Current brushes settings is ok.

Yes, Procreate, Infinite Painter and Adobe Fresco use sliders.

Also in good old photoshop there is a slider and a number box.

The number box is usually on the right side above the slider. Or next to it.

In ASP there is often enough empty horizontal space between the feature title (flow, max flow, opacity..) and the number box, suitable for a slider there.

Maybe it’s something to consider in future versions,

Thanks! :)
