Colour Sample with Pencil (iPad)

I find that selecting a colour using the 'long-press' with the Adobe Pencil often does not work; instead it lays down a mark of existing colour.
Video shows this. (Successful only on 3rd attempt each time - but it often needs more attempts).

Prefs... Zoomed Eyedropper: OFF
           Eyedropper delay: 0.4

In the app there is hard-coded value "allowed Pencil distance for long press", its value is 3.5 points, but it is for Apple Pencil only.
For finger it is zero, so no movement is allowed.

Currently app does not support 3rd party styluses, but we are going to support them. I will also fix problem with long-press Eyedropper when implementing styluses.

Even when it does switch to color pick, it sometimes doesn’t go back to paint tool.
It goes back to eraser fine, so far, but not the paint tool at times.

If you tell us how to reproduce that or at least you record the problem on video, we will fix it immediately

Not the same problem but related…
With the version 1.1 (but with previous versions also) when I sample the colors with the Apple Pencil, the app freezes… I mean you can’t draw anymore and you can’t zoom (you see that the zoom is working only with the number on top middle of screen but the screen doesn’t move)
The only workaround is to change the tool and come back to the pencil to be able to draw again…
I don’t use anymore the pencil color picker and moved to the finger, but it’s slowing a lot the workflow… I tried several values for the delay 0,2 until 0,9 but the same problem since earlier versions…
Could you please take a look at it ?

I tested that - i activated Paint tool, and long pressed with Apple Pencil. Everything was fine.
Maybe i should activate other tool?
Do you have iOS 11?
Maybe you could record the problem on video and send me it ([email protected])?

Yes i am with iOS 11, tried to soft reset, to free ram etc....Same problem

vezinho: please tell me whether this happen with all brushes (including simple brushes from Basic groups), or maybe only with some complicated brushes?

I investigated a little bit more:
It seems to happen only when using the Paint tool and the Pencil tool.
Everything seems fine with the Wet Peint tool.
