Disable Apple Pencil long press

Is there a way to disable the long press in the Apple Pencil? I want the long press in the finger not the pencil. I accidentally change the color everytime Im trying to measure things because the tip is too close to the screen.

Preferences -> Apple pencil -> long press delay set to 0
