More keyboard hotkey options -List
on: September 12, 2019, 08:14:39 AM
I would love to see options to add hotkeys for:
- Symmetry
- Merge selected layers (this can be same than merge down)
- Select multiple layers (hotkey + click layer)
- Hotkeys for own favourite brushes
- Brush alpha blend option (on/off)

I meant blend transparency on/off in wet paint settings.
Sad if fav brushes is not even in plans, after that this app can be almost perfect from hotkeys view. And pro artist can do everything fastly with keyboard in full screen mode.
Example I changed to your app because your hotkey possibilities are pretty comprehensive and I can do 80% of stuff with these and it saves huge amount of time. I just hope it can be 100% in the future with the average artist pipeline. In that point, artist can just open app in full screen mode, relax and enjoy full journey from scrach to final rendered pic without jumping between screenmodes or menues. And I think you are so close to that point. cheers!

I would like to support this proposal.
In case it is too complicated to implement:
-1. One single keyboard shortcut to call the brush menu (maybe 2 more for Color menu and Layer menu) so that the number of clicks is at least reduced.

Other workarounds could be:
-2. The option to pin the menus (+ move popup menus as close to the edge as possible - it could help in some situations but it can clutter the screen so + any way to reduce the with of these menus when pinned)
-3. Sidebar where we could pin our favorite brushes (with icons being just the tip of the brush - also useful in the previous proposal(-2) to reduce the width of a pinned menu).

Can you try number keypad key support and multipul tools in one key please :)
in clip studio paint they rotate if I set pen and pencil and eraser tool to same key.

Key shortcuts for Fav presets are there. It is Cmd-Shift-1 2 3 and so on. You can change that in Preferences.

I would like the ability to change the modifier keys, especially to change brush size with the space key pressed and dragging would be very helpful. Another option that would be nice to set a keypress for the pop up menu.
