Yes, it's a bug. Even 2 bugs.
1. Cut/Clear should remove pixels even if Lock Transparecny is enabled.
2. Move sometimes does not correctly (for example after painting a stroke) when Lock Transparecny is enabled.

Position of color picker - it has been improved in version 1.0.2. Now you enable/disable Eyedroppr offset, and you can do it separately for Pencil and finger.

Few bug fixes and small improvements
What's new
both versions:
- fixed importing PSD created in some apps
- fixed crash when using Edit->Transform Special with empty layer
- fixed generating Screen Recording video when canvas was scaled
- few other small bug fixes and stability improvements
iOS:
- it is now possible to open large photos - they are scaled to supported size
- reselect did not work for large images
- added possibility to enable two- and three-finger-tap gestures (undo/redo) when using Pencil Only mode
- fixes in Text Tool when importing custom fonts
- added switch in Preferences to separately set Eyedropper Offset for finger and Pencil
- Layer top menu item was not fully visible on iPad
- fixed numeric keyboard popup position on iPhone in brush/color/pattern editor
macOS version:
- canvas was sometimes disappearing when using Full Screen window
- fixed glitches in textfields and Text Tool after opening app using Finder->Any Photo->Open With

I know editing, or rather saving brush is not very intuitive now, it will change in future versions.
You have just remember to drag preview to thumbnails.
Drag over thumbnail to overwrite it, drag between thumbnails to add.
You can also tap "Gear" icon and tap "Overwrite Selected Item" and "Add Current" to do the same.

View->Reset Tool resets only the active tool.
I'm not sure if I understand the problem you described - maybe send a video showing it.
As i wrote before resetting individual brushes does not make sense, because you have access to original brushes (they cannot be overwritten).
Maybe you have to save changes after you modify a brush (in brush editor - drag brush preview at the top to thumbnails at the bottom).

Maybe you are using "Pencil" tool instead of "Paint" tool. In Artstudio Pro your basic painting tool is "Paint" (paintbrush icon) whcih generates nice antialiased strokes. Pencil tool makes "hard-edged" (not antiliased) stroke.
