Apparently you can now see all the color choices in chunky large squares with their color palette IDs! This means you can scroll through the color palettes choosing colors more quickly. Hey Lucky Clan…can you one up Procreate and release this feature before they do?

how is having bigger chunks of color making it faster to scroll/choose? (other than for accessibility i'm unable to picture hows faster)

Anyways, already suggested the author when he reworked the swatches/color panel to let us choose if we want to have x amount of swatches per row and decide if we want them all to have the same size, but apparently he "doesn't have time for that", so wouldnt count with it :C

Current swatches system is REALLY OCD triggering btw

Imho only cool thing about that is to be able to display labels for each color (HEX, HSB, CMYK, etc). For some workflows would indeed be a great addition

Don’t make this a preference setting. This MUST be a toggle on the color swatch itself. Because this is something that needs to be fine tuned constantly. There are times when this isn’t necessary so it’s a lot quicker to remove luminosity lock if it’s visibly available on the swatch itself rather than hunting for it in preferences.

+1
Exactly.
Very excited to see this coming to ASP

Hopefully with the new iPad pros and their 8-16GB RAM it won't be a problem
where do i contact you so you update my ipad? :)
Jokes aside, that would make everyone sluggish but the few people upgrading

It might be handy, but it’s not a feature that I’m dying to get.

Procreate’s team should focus on fixing the x-years-old bugs they have and finally add some of the really useful tools and/or features any pro raster app should have, like a proper magic wand. But hey, they are always first to release half-baked flashy new features...

I have set it to pencil only mode with fingers just for gestures. It works great, no more accidental touches

Great to know you are thinking on adding these!
Thanks!

My upvote for both, but specially actions would be awesome

1.) As I work with a lot of layers, it would really help my workflow (and maybe others’ as well) to have the option to add a coloured tag to the layers (similar to Photoshop) to help differentiate them. Red for lineart, blue for flat colors, cyan for rendering, orange for references, green for text or whatever. It would help a lot with organizing the document. Being able to see what a layer is at a glance would really speed up things a lot. Right now I find myself scrolling through the layers panel looking for what I need for a while. Identifying a layer only through it’s thumbnail or label takes some time.

It would be an extra option on the layer’s panel (alongside Lock transparency, Lock pixels, Lock position and Reference. Hope others will find it useful enough and it’s not a pain in the a** to implement so we can see it happen!

2.) Have a set of options when exporting to jpeg and pdf (mainly to manage dpi and color profile), so that you don’t have to use a different app to create a light, printable file for example.

Thanks and have a great day!

Help / Re: Apple pencil double tap

Go to Artstudio > Preferences > Apple Pencil to toggle that feature on/off and to choose action. If that doesn’t work then I don’t know. Working fine for me but have it disabled, somehow is more "sensitive" on this app...

Help / Recent colors side menu?
on: September 29, 2020, 08:40:43 PM
Hi! Using the app since i got my iPad last year... been however busy with other stuff for a while and I’m coming back to my projects now. Updated to latest version (which is cool, some nice improvements) and I think I remember having the swatches on the side (or bottom?) that were showing me my recently used colors. Somehow I’m not being able to find the option to activate it now... Was that a thing and it got removed or buried somewhere where I’m too dumb to find it or I’m just remembering all wrong... Anyways, that’s a very useful feature! If someone can point me in the right direction would be great... if it just doesn’t exist, please consider adding it :)

Thanks for this amazing app!
