Help / Problem importing images

I have had Art Studio pro for a number of years.  I recently got the new ipad 2022 12.9 pro. About the same time IPadOS updated to 16.1 so I am not sure where my problem is coming from. When I try to import an image from my ipad photo app it gives me a new error message which I have never seen before. I can copy the photo and paste it but not import it. The error message is attached below. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been using ArtStudio for a number of years but just for manipukation and editing. This last upgrade brought it to another whole level and is now my go to app for all things ipad digital. Great Job!!

I’ve just started playing with ArtStudio pro on the iPad. I have used so many apps and digital programs but I have to say this is my absolute favorite on the iPad. It seems to do everything. Just some play. Thanks for a great app!

Can someone explain how to use the aux stamp.I’ve been playing an I can see an effect in the brush preview but I’m missing something because it doesn’t show when I actually Paint. Thank!

I know I am most likely doing something wrong but when I try and impor either an abr or TLPs from I cloud, it tells me they are importing but don’t appear. What step am I missing? Thanks for the assist.
