It is not possible, sorry.
We cannot implement that because in Artstudio we have a lot of brush parameters that are not supported by Photoshop, so they cannot be saved in abr.

Unfortunately Apples still doesn't want to fix it in the iOS, i can still easily repeat this issue in apps like Pages or Numbers...
In December 2023 we released an update with a kind of workaround. This is not a fix because only Apple can really fix it. But it prevents from losing the progress. So you will still sometimes see a "Saving Error" alert, but now it is one-time issue, and the next saving should work fine.

Could you check if it happens on iCloud / local disk (On My iPad) / both?
it was gone for a bit, but i suddenly started getting the "Document was not saved! Please close and reopen the document" popup every autosave or if i manually save

As we are working on a new graphics engine, vector tools will not be added before we start porting Artstudio to the new engine.

I have fixed a bug when switching from one textfiled to another. But i'm not sure if this case is also fixed.

As i wrote few times the bug is caused by iOS.
I reported that to apple, but it seems they haven't fix it yet.
I can easily repeat the bug in apps like Pages or Numbers.
However, like icezimy wrote, i think i finally found a workaround! We are testing that in real work...

Ok, thanks for info.
I found the issue!
I had an old artstudio pro beta app that expired. Once i deleted the beta app, all of the thumbnails began to appear once again

Thumbnails are managed fully by system. It should work better in iPadOS 17.
