I think having the pigment mode as a Layer blending mode is actually brilliant and very useful. You can mix colors naturally WHILE having multiple layers. I think it's very convenient. Thanks!

Nice suggestion 👍

What I do is use the Favourites panel (star icon),
Activate Lasso bucket fill, change blending mode to Erase, then store this setting as a new Favourite preset in the panel.
Hope that helps
Enjoy ;)

Hi !

Working on a couple of projects, I really needed something like this, especially for coloring on layers underneath a greyscale sketch ,which is set to multiply ( I don’t necessarily want to compress the levels into just white and black)  . I would constantly have to hide it (or isolate current layer) in order to pick the actual color I’m working with.

I know there are those options like “pick from this and below” but I find it a bit less practical than just letting the app ignore reference layers.

I could in that case set the grayscale sketch layer to “Reference” and set the eyedropper mode to something like “all except reference” . Then the process would be a lot more streamlined.

Hope this made sense and be considered.

Thanks!

Why not have a simple checkered background to indicate transparency? @Lucky Clan
It seems to me a pretty good solution that is readable in any theme , dark or light.
Could be an option in the settings too please?

Hello!

I like how the regular color sliders in the floating panel behave, if you drag the slider pointer while moving away from the slider, it drags slower , and allows for extra accuracy and subtle shifts in hue/value ..

Can the Color Sliders in the Side Bar behave in a similar way? Like if you drag and move towards the right , the drag gets a little slower?

Thanks

Good suggestions overall

Totally agree on number (5), the snap while zooming gives the impression of lag.
Zoom in/out should feel smooth without any bumpy snaps.
Snapping to 100% after releasing the gesture is the ideal solution.

Hello!

Thanks for the awesome 4.1 update, it’s just so good and a huge improvement.

Like the title says , currently when you create a new favourite tool preset (Add Current button) the new created one is not activated (highlighted) in the panel.

It will really help to fix this, especially when creating duplicates of current favourite preset, the new one should be highlighted (switched to) instead of staying on current preset.

Hope that made sense!

Thanks so much🙏

I quite like the animation of the quick menu in the latest beta  :)

However now it feels a little slow for the buttons to appear to be honest.

There was something good about the immediate reveal of quick menu.

With animation it looks better, I agree,

But if can you make the animation just a little quicker to appear, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Fantastic  :) good to hear

Any chance of implementing an optional scaling down of the interface , at least all floating panels?
I think the option to choose a 75% scale maybe is a good idea 👍

Tested the beta and this works perfectly!, I set it to double tap and it’s such a time saver.

Thanks for the quick implementation Luckyclan  :D appreciate this so much.

Thanks for the suggestion, i like it ;)

Thanks for consideration! Yeah definitely it would be great to pick layers with a gesture without switching current tool :)
