I would also like to see an option to fully lock layers (1).  I keep working finding myself working on the wrong layer.  In Procreate I have always locked all layers except the one I intend to work on.

Waterfall in the Grampians, Australia.  A holiday snap taken many years ago as used as reference.
Painted on a Mac using ArtStudioPro with an iPad Pro as input device.

Another one of the Camellia flowers in my garden at present.
Painted entirely using the wet oil brushes in ArtStudioPro on a Mac with an iPad Pro/Apple Pencil and input device.  Starting to get on top of the ArtStudioPro brushes.  I now understand the difference between opacity and flow.

PS: Is it just me or does everyone have trouble getting past the CAPTCHA to post?  (I don't know why it is necessary when you can only post if you are a registered forum member.)

Hello all,
I am a digital art hobbyist and have been drawing/painting since early 2016 after seeing a David Hockney exhibition.   After having used Procreate and Artrage I have recently taken to use ArtStudioPro (mainly with the wet oil brushes).  I am trying to develop a “painterly” style more in common with traditional art than is normal with digital art.
With ArtStudioPro I particularly like the way I can easily move between the Mac and the iPad Pro.

This was my first attempt at using ArtStudio Pro to create an artwork using a wet oil painting technique.  It was created on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil.   An image on pixabay.com was used as a reference.

Not having used Photoshop I found ArtStudioPro a bit of a challenge.  Previously I had only used Procreate and Artrage.
