Title: Brush strokes starts with low opacity. [SOLVED]
Post by: Moglas on August 05, 2019, 04:35:09 PM
Hey there, i start to use Artstudio Pro recently and i noticed when i try to paint the strokes automatically starts with a thiner or clear opacity /size, even if i try to draw hard the light start persist. It’s a bit annoying and i hope you can provide me any solution.
Everything else it’s absolute amazing to work with!

Here’s some example of what i’m trying to mean:

PD: I try diffrent brushes and sensitive curve settings but it didn't work.

okay I thought I was crazy because I experienced this as well...

I am on iPad OS. Updating to the latest OS & latest ASP and this seemed to go away. That was my experience. GL!

I should also say check to make sure your smoothing is set to a low number or zero, and check your global pressure curve along with brush pressure curve

To get plaint stroke start / end disable flow, opacity and size dynamics.

That's not what i'm trying to accomplish, but thanks. I want to have the chance of painting with pressure levels with hard or soft strokes witout any automated gradient at the start.

I found that if you go to Preferences/Tools/Global Smoothing and you set at “1” it solves the automated gradient at the start of the stroke. I could be a provisional solution, and i mean provisional because i want to have the choice of don’t use the smoothing option.

Hope this helps somebody.

Could you fix this in the next update? Still an issue.

Thanks
