Title: Moving UI elements around
Post by: Nighternet on August 19, 2018, 06:51:29 PM
is the hardest thing to get used to. This is a main reason for me not to use the full screen mode at all, except for the better view. Sliders and undo/redo button are not just change their positions, it means using g different hand to operate them in different modes. I know you tried to save same pixels in the full mode, but this is a wrong approach.

I agree 100% with this as well. Making it consistent is better. What if the slider is always to the left.. then the other icons can pop up to the rigth side

Made a quick mock up of possibilities: https://imgur.com/a/L0wy6wX

Two columns of controls close to each other is a VERY wrong UI idea. They are fine at the bottom. Besides, I always use the pen for sliders for precision, so I don't have to move over to the left. In fact, being able to position control elements on the screen (either in preferences or by activating move UI edit mode) would solve that.
