Text tool and Adjustment Layers
on: July 04, 2018, 12:51:08 AM
Hey. A few things are holding me back from using Artstudio Pro exclusively, so id like to know if theres an answer to my two questions:
1) Text tool
Is it possible to make the text bend and follow a curve of some sort. I cant seem to figure it out.

2) Adjustment Layers
I know the fact, that you want them to be non-destructive which is nice. How do i use adjustment layers on a clipping mask. Say I have my shadows on a clipping mask on my skin-layer, but then want to adjust the hue, saturation (anything). When i add an adjustment layer it then changes hue or saturation on all of the underlying layers. To get the result i want it takes waaaay to many clicks/workaround. That might be because im using it wrong.

Hope any of you guys can help me out.

1) Sorry, it is not possible for the moment. Some vector operations are planned for a future.

2) Clipping Mask can be applied to both single layers and a group. So you can put few layers/cliping mask into a group, then add adjustment layer over the group and enable Clipipng Mask for it.

Thanks for the response. It is a usefull trick grouping layers and then adding an afjustment layer, but its still not quite what I was looking for. Actually I found a more precise way of describing my issue: Can you add an adjustment layer to a clipping mask only? As of now you have to unclip the layer, then make the adjustment, then merge the adjustment layer with the unclipped layer and last making it a clipping mask once again. Does that make sense?

I’m afraid it is not possible. However maybe you could use mask instead of clipping mask, and add adjustment layer as  below the mask?
