Ah I think I understand where the confusion lies
The context of the program usage was for when you're using a keyboard with iPad. It could be anything from Magic Keyboard, or in my case, a regular Bluetooth keyboard.
what I meant above was, there's a difference in what's happening in the program when you try to
hold these two buttons below
For the Eraser (Right part with
E keyboard shortcut), if I try to
hold the button while I make strokes with my apple pen, this happens

` keyboard shortcut), if I try to
hold the button while I make strokes with my apple pen, this happens
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fA4dwI0TlqIAnd, while the right part (Eraser) keyboard shortcut is being held, the current active tool would change into eraser and stays that way. And when the Eraser keyboard shortcut is being released, the current active tool would revert to whatever it was before the eraser was active.
Meanwhile, when the left part (Clear Blending) keyboard shortcut is being held, rather than activating the Clear Blending mode until the keyboard shortcut is released, it toggles between
Normal blending and
Clear blending shown below.

My request is for the left part of the screenshot (Clear Blending) to behave the same way eraser (right part) does. Which is :
• When the
Clear Blending (left part) keyboard shortcut is being held, the brush will stay in
Clear blending mode, until the keyboard is released, in which it would revert to whatever blending mode the brush was prior to this
Clear blending mode.
I'm aware that the wording was rather complicated and convoluted, please feel free to ask whichever part that's not clear yet. I genuinely do not mind. Thank you so much for listening to my request 💖✨
