Suggestions, Ideas, Bugs / Reference view - keep photo with document

Not sure if it is a bug, but reference photos do not seem to be tied to the document.
For example I create document 1 that uses reference photo A.
Then I create a new document 2 which uses reference photo B.
Then exit.
Next day I reopen document 1, but reference photo B is displayed, where I would have thought reference photo A would have been.

Congrats on the new version.

If possible it would be a lot easier to allow brush editor to remain open while editing/testing new brush settings on the canvas.
