I agree the menu should appear immediately or at least offer an option in settings to choose whether or not to use the animation.

Where can I show the percent the hover goes 😮?

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was just explaining that Procreate doesn't default to minimum size it defaults to 10 percent which can be changed in the brush settings in each individual brush. ArtStudio Pro does not have this setting.

I definitely prefer the current implementation but I can understand wanting more control. There was actually a while where the hover cursor was showing the minimum size which was an issue for me since most of my brushes minimum size are set to zero basically making the brush stamp a tiny dot that was hard to see.

Also in Procreate it doesn't default to the minimum size but actually 10 percent and in the settings for each brush you have control to choose what percent the hover shows.

Transparency shapes layer is widely used by many professional artists working in Photoshop and are dependent on it in their workflow. It should be a real advantage over other art software to implement in ASP.

It's true, it's one of the few things that pulls me back to Photoshop and keeps me from recommending ASP to other digital painters that I know use the feature. If added I'd be able to move my entire workflow over from PS.

I'm not sure what all this entails so I understand if it's not easy to implement but just in case it's simple I thought I'd voice the desire for it.

When turning off the "Transparecy Shapes" layer setting in Photoshop I'm able to get a full value range using the Color Burn blending mode that simulates a burnt umber underpainting really well.

So I'm hoping there's a way we can get something similar in ArtStudio Pro. Thank you! Thank you for quickly fixing the hover bug too!

Hello! I'm a big fan of the app and am super happy you were able to implement hover so quickly but it seems like it's bugged in 5.1.7

I see in the update notes you added tilt support and figure that may be what's causing this new bug.

The cursor is now super tiny while hovering with no way to change it effectively making it useless until you make contact with the pencil which brings it back to full size.
It seems like the cursor while hovering may be showing the minimum brush size which is a problem for brushes that have their minimum brush size set to zero.
