Title: Cursor + angle of the brush help
Post by: Crocorax on February 06, 2019, 10:47:25 AM
Hello,
first I have to say big thank, because this app is realy powerful. So, thank to all devs! Thank you!:)
I am new in apple world and I am artstudio newbie too, but I found something what could be improved? Or maybe I just need a help with?
There is a question for devs or more experienced users. I love to use FLAT burshes like palette knives and there is a problem. What I realy miss is the cursor (real brush tip cursor which is moving/ rotating the angle in real time - to control the angle of the brush I used to use the "pen direction" mostly). Main reason is better control of the angle of the brush. I know that there is an option to hide or show the cursor (but this cursor is not rotating in real time and it is not showing the brush tip). What I want to ask is, is there any chance to set the cursor of my actual brush tip I use (to be shown)? Is there any option in the settings to set it? My cursor is always round or ellipse and it is not rotating in real time. I did not find any information about cursor settings in the starting guide. I love to paint complex landscape paintings and flat brushes are realy important for me to paint diverse shapes (ground, mountains etc.). It is a pain to get the right shape by the first few strokes (it is always - try - undo - try - undo... or erase the part I dont like. Both taking too much time).
For example:

(impossible to evade using flat brushes)
I find Ipad pro with Artstudio pro as realy powerful and useful combo for digital painting - hope I could fully switch from desktop one day :)
Thank you for your answer :)

Robert
