Title: Option to automatically open new document with specifics.
Post by: Dorothyfan1 on July 13, 2021, 10:55:16 AM
I’m surprised this hasn’t been implemented. But it gets tiring to open ASP and manually create a document with your personal specifications for that document. Wouldn’t it be great if there was an option in ASP that automatically does this for you? All you need to do is open ASP and it instantly opens a blank document with your template requirements for file size, DPI, and color profile. The question I’d like to see answered is why ASP hasn’t implemented this simple idea.

yah, would be nice and easy to implement, just create a new document, set layer names, groups, etc you need as template and then a file > save as template, and when creating a new file let us choose from those templates. A way of managing those templates would also be nice to have if this ever gets implemented.

This would be great, especially if group names and layers etc. will be saved too. It would save a lot of time

Save As Template - sounds good, we will add it soon.
