Title: Any planning for ArtStudio Vs Photoshop ?

Any big ideas for ArtStudio?
I thank for the fans base of photoshop, ArtStudio need to push harder!

For both  drawing &. Painting and for photography artist.
Hopefully something  crazy ! Something ArtStudio have and other doesn’t have..... ;)

* I am mainly doing drawings and painting.

ASP is fine for painting, but to become a premium photo manipulation tool, it needs at least:

• Smart and powerful background removal/edge enhancement tools
• Paintable masks
• Vector tools with path editing
• Channel editing/channel blending (hide if)
• More intelligent noise reduction
• Plugin architecture

1. Already on my todo list (planned for next year)
2. Paintable masks - we already have it, you can change any layer into a mask and paint on it.
3. Vector tool - next year
4. Channel editing - users haven't requested that so far
5. Noise reduction - current "Denoise" filter is really good, especially in "Precise" mode.
6. Plugins - this is not easy to implement, we will consider that in the future.

I second the channel editing, I’d like to see that aswell.
And I’m still pushing for ASP to handle 16bit files.😁

Question:
How far off are you guys from sharing PSD files back and forth with regards to adjustment layers, masks etc?

Masks and clipping masks are already supported in both PSD import and export.
Adjustment layers and layer effects will be implemented in the next few months.

Will they still carry across to ASP if you paint out areas of the mask on the adjustment layer in PS?
