Title: Bug: grey brush strokes

I encountered a very annoying bug: when using some brushes, the first stroke is always grey (video with an example attached below).

I  tried changing various settings, but could not fix it. Maybe the problem is related to the pigment engine.

I’m experiencing the same issue, and it’s not always related to choosing a new brush. Sometimes, a random stroke just turns gray, even without switching tools or settings. It doesn’t seem consistent, but it happens often enough to be frustrating. I also suspect it might have something to do with the pigment engine, but I haven’t found a reliable fix either.
