Title: [Desktop] See Two Open Documents Together
Post by: artofbob on June 18, 2023, 05:24:54 PM
Is there a way to see two (multiple) documents at the same time? It seems you can only click on one at a time and the other is hidden.

I'm trying desperately to use this app as my main painting app, but I keep hitting roadblocks that never seem to be addressed.

Thanks.

Bob

I think the closest thing is the reference viewer window. Some apps like safari or google docs let you open two instances side by side, which I always thought might be an interesting feature for art studio pro. Especially if you could drag or copy selections and layers across. Who knows if a two doc view within a single instance would be simpler though.

I'm sorry but there is no reference support in the desktop version. You can use a layer instead, I do that now and then.
I mostly use Krita on my desktop. Strange default shortcuts and takes some time to learn, but the brush engine is very potent. Large userbase and a nice helpful forum too (Krita-artists).
