Title: When Reference panel is open, Lasso fill and Layer visibility switch are slow.

Hello!
Just noticed that if Reference panel is open and set to “Canvas”
The Bucket Fill (Lasso Mode) is slowed down: you can see the outline of the lasso for a longer time before it fills the area.

I love keeping the reference panel open and set to Canvas. Hope this can be fixed!

Also turning layer visibility on and off gets a bit slower.
