Latest Beta. I don't know if this is a new bug or if it has been present in older versions. I imported a 40 layer psd from Photoshop and then exported the psd. The result was an image with what I could explain as scanlines. Just like some screenmodes in emulators that emulate older gaming-consoles. Looks like the pixel rows in the image been shifted. I would guess that the width is wrong by some pixels for each layer array that are written to the exported file.

Could you send me this psd (original saved in photoshop) to email: [email protected]

I will do that. The file is a work for a client so delete it after you are done with it.

Thanks, it seems it is a bug im psd import, exactly in layer masks.
We are working on this now.

update: it is problem with layer mask in 16-bit images.
Remember that Artstudio doesn't support 16-bit format, and 16-bit psd imported in Artstudio is converted to 8-bit.
workaround: convert image to 8-bit in Photoshop before export

update: bug is fixed, we will publish new version in the next few days.
For the moment please use workaround described in the previous post.

Thanks. I mostly work in 16bit to avoid banding. I was searching for an answer if artstudio pro was working in 8 or 16 bit. Now I know. 😉
