Title: Cut-Paste Command Issue

Hi, I use cut-paste command a lot, however one thing bothers me: When I cut a piece of layer, then paste it, the app pastes the piece into a new layer. This is nice but ASP sometimes pastes the new image in original place, sometimes it does not. I want to paste it ”in place”. Am I doing something wrong?

I have the same issue. For me, It always paste in a different place. It's annoying.
Is it something we're doing wrong or a bug?

If you select the area to be cut, leave the selection on and paste. It will paste into that same spot. Of course, you can paste it into a new or different layer if you like, just don’t turn off the selection.
